Faculty and Students Visit New Oriental Vision Overseas Consulting (Shaanxi Branch) to Carry Out Enterprise Visits and Employment Expansion Activities

In order to further broaden students employment channels, deepen collaboration between the School and enterprises, and promote the solid implementation of enterprise visit and employment expansion initiatives, on November 19, a delegation from the Schoolincluding WANG Baohong, Secretary of the CPC Party Committee ; LIU Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Party Committee; LIU Yang, Secretary of the CCYL League Committee; Mo Yan, Student Counselor; and student representativesvisited the Shaanxi Branch of New Oriental Vision Overseas Consulting. The delegation was received by Wang Jing, General Manager; Zeng Xu, Senior Marketing Manager; Zhao Xinhui, University Marketing Manager; and Fan Lina, Deputy Director of the AustraliaNew Zealand Division and Co-director of the Employability Development Program.

At the beginning of the activity, a study-abroad planning instructor from New Oriental guided the students through a tour of the office area and consultation hall, offering them an in-depth experience of the working environment and corporate culture of an overseas education service provider. The session focused on recent trends in overseas study, key points for applying to popular destinations, strategies for document preparation, and approaches for strengthening academic and extracurricular backgrounds. By combining real cases and data, the instructor helped students cultivate correct career awareness, broaden their international horizons, and enhance their competitiveness for future employment.

Following the tour, WANG Baohong and his delegation held an in-depth discussion with Wang Jing and heads of relevant departments on topics including School-enterprise cooperation, students career planning, and guidance for studying abroad. Wang Jing warmly welcomed the delegation and provided a systematic and comprehensive introduction to the companys corporate culture, departmental structure, staffing, business development, employment guidance, career planning services, and overseas study support. She expressed the hope that future cooperation could include tailored career-planning guidance based on students grades, interests, and needs, using programs such as the companys Career Carnival as platforms to deliver systematic, professional, and in-depth training and support. She noted that the company aims to offer customized services to students pursuing graduate studies, overseas opportunities, or employment, helping them establish appropriate career values and enhance their competitiveness.

WANG Baohong expressed his appreciation for New Orientals long-standing support for the School. He provided a detailed introduction to the Schools educational features, talent cultivation goals, program structure, employment situation of the 2025 graduating cohort, and analysis of the employment outlook for the 2026 cohort. He emphasized that the School looks forward to deepening cooperation with New Oriental in the next stage, focusing on student development and high-quality employment, promoting resource sharing and complementary strengths, and jointly advancing mutual development.

This enterprise visit and employment expansion activity marks an important initiative by the School to promote high-quality employment and support students growth and success. Moving forward, the School will continue to align with students needs and aspirations, strengthen School-enterprise coordination, deepen collaborative partnerships, and advance enterprise visits and employment expansion activities. Through both exploring job opportunities and enhancing students competitiveness for employment and further study, the School will continue to support graduates in achieving higher-quality employment outcomes.
