On August 28–29, the NWU–Salento School of Cultural Heritage and Arts successfully carried out its orientation work for the new undergraduate students enrolled in 2025. To ensure an efficient and well-organized registration process, the School made thorough preparations in advance. With close coordination among departments, enthusiastic faculty and student volunteers, and considerate services, the School provided first-year students with a convenient one-stop registration experience, maintaining smooth procedures and orderly arrangements throughout.

Under the patient guidance of student volunteers, new students completed procedures such as facial recognition verification and department registration step by step. Volunteers also carefully checked admission notices, ID cards, and other materials to ensure the accuracy of information.

On the afternoon of August 29, LIU Yang, Secretary of the Committee of the Communist Youth League of the School, led volunteers to Xi’an Railway Station to warmly welcome incoming students.

WANG Baohong, Secretary of the CPC Party Committee of the School; YANG Lu, Dean of the School; LIU Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Party Committee; DOU Haifeng, Deputy Dean; and MO Yan, Student Counselor, visited both newly arrived freshmen and returning students, extending heartfelt care and encouragement. Their thoughtful greetings brought warmth and inspiration to students as they embarked on their new academic journey—their “first stop” of the new semester.
