Currently undertaking several research projects, including:

· National Key Research and Development Program: Research on Comprehensive Identification and Extraction Technologies of Key Sites and Relics

· Industry Standard of the National Cultural Heritage Administration: Specification for Desalination of Cultural Relics–Part 4: Brick and Stone Relics

· Xi’an Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage: Preliminary Study on the Foundation Conservation of the Xi’an Bell Tower

Research Achievements:

· Research on the workmanship and materials of Luohan Grottoes in Jingchuan, Gansu Province

· Study of soot on frescoes of Samye Monastery in Tibet

· Technical report on the maintenance of the eaves of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda (published book)

· Participated in the project Research on Key Technologies for Stone Relics Conservation, which was awarded the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award by the National Cultural Heritage Administration
