Yang Lu, Male, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. He graduated from Northwest University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Cultural Heritage Conservation Technology; obtained a Masters degree in Archaeology and Museology in 2006 and a Ph.D. in Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2012; and served as a visiting scholar at the University of Pisa in Italy from 2014 to 2015, conducting collaborative research on the analysis of cultural relic residues. His primary research focuses on the conservation of polychrome cultural relics, on-site conservation in archaeological excavations, analysis of cultural relic residues, and conservation environment for cultural relics. He offers both undergraduate and graduate courses such as Introduction to Conservation Environment for Cultural Relics, On-site Conservation in Archaeological Excavations, Laboratory on Ceramic Relics Restoration, Conservation of Inorganic Cultural Relics, Western Art in Cultural Heritage Conservation, and Statistical Foundations for Cultural Heritage Conservation Research. In recent years, he has published 3 academic monographs, 2 textbooks (including one designated as a 12th Five-Year Plan National Planning Textbook), and over 90 academic papers. He has received one National Teaching Achievement Award (First Prize), one Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (Grand Prize), three university-level teaching awards, and three ministerial/provincial scientific research awards.
